The Fall has finally fallen. RiverDog and I need the cooler days when the grass stops growing and the banks of the Chemung aren't so busy with littering fishermen and families. Herself is next to the northern bank's river-wall. She clings to the concrete dike for the reflected warmth of the sun.

Again, our ability to photograph the noisy critter is courtesy of the late fall, when trees are bare and real birding comes easily.
